Eduardo Del Signore featuring Daya singing in Spanish - Includes "Señor de La Clara Luz"
The spirit of Afro-Uruguayan Candombe rhythms cut through all of Eduardo Del Signore's compositions and interpretations in his new release, Edu-Page Zero. The listener is immediately transposed into sound images that transverse the globe - from waves crashing on the shores of Buzios, Brazil, to tango rhythms of the Montevideo's Rio de la Plata, to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors, to West African chanting, to Andean high plateaux charangos, to doves cooing in Point Dume, California. His journey becomes our own. Edu's position in the world music scene spans many years and includes working with many varied artists such as Jon Anderson (Yes), Vangelis, Milton Nascimento, Dionne Warwick, Al Jarreau, Eduardo Mateo, Jorge Trasante (Gypsy Kings) and many others. His latest music work, Page Zero, is an arrival into his proper genre - the truly independent artist.
